The Mary Moody Northern Theater (at St. Ed's) is putting on Pride and Prejudice at the same time we're reading the novel. Thanks to the lovely managing director, our own Michelle Polgar, we have free tickets to the pre-showing on the evening of February 15. Shoot me an email if you'd like to go, and we'll get a field trip put together.
This is a good year for Pride and Prejudice. Many of you were involved in the Alley Cat Players' excellent production in the fall, and now we have a chance to see another interpretation. Pride and Prejudice is a detailed novel, and not particularly short, so it invariably gets cut and interpreted quite a bit in any stage production. It should be interesting to see how this take resembles or differs from the Alley Cat Players' adaptation.
Peace,
Mrs. Swan
